Rise

The sunroof can only be raised or closed when the switch is in position "0". To raise the sunroof, briefly press the switch. To close the sunroof, briefly pull the switch. To set the panel to an intermediate position, press/pull down the switch until the desired panel position is reached.

Pushing back

To move the sunroof to a position with lower wind noise, turn the switch to position "1" until resistance is felt. To fully slide the sunroof, turn and hold the switch to position "2" until resistance is felt. To close the sunroof, turn the switch to position "0". To set the sunroof to an intermediate position, turn the switch to the desired position.

Raising and lowering the sunshade

Turn switch "3" in the selected direction of the arrow. To stop the sunblind in the intermediate position, press the switch again. After switching off the ignition, the panoramic roof panel can be opened and closed for about 10 minutes. The switch is deactivated immediately after opening the driver's or passenger's door. The electric sunblind can also be used with the panoramic roof panel open.

If, for example, a jammed object is detected during the closing process, the panoramic roof panel opens automatically. In this case, an electric emergency closing of the roof can be performed later. Within five seconds after automatic opening, press the switch and hold it down until the roof closes. In this case, it is necessary to first close the doors on the driver's and front passenger's side. If emergency closing cannot be performed electrically, it must be done mechanically.

Mechanical emergency closing

The screwdriver and adjustable Torx bit can be found in the tool kit, and the crank handle is on the fuse cover. Open the glasses compartment. There is a screw in it. Unscrew the screw - shown by the arrow - from the grouped light and carefully remove the light. Press the crank handle until it stops against the internal hexagon and rotate it. The roof closes.

Note: The emergency release crank handle is easier to turn if you use a screwdriver handle as an aid (tool kit).
