Adjusting the headlight angle

The car is equipped with a headlight tilt regulator, which allows avoiding blinding oncoming drivers when the car is heavily loaded. In cars with xenon headlights, the headlight tilt is adjusted automatically, also during braking and acceleration.

In vehicles with halogen headlights, the headlight angle must be adjusted using a knurled adjuster.

Turning lights

When the lights are on, the cornering lights are adjusted according to the vehicle speed and the steering angle of the steering wheels. This provides better illumination when driving around bends. The system operates at speeds between approximately 10 km/h and 110 km/h.

Note: The light sensor for the automatic headlight switch is located in the mount of the interior rearview mirror. Therefore, it is prohibited to stick anything in this area of the windshield. Some functions of the exterior lighting can be adjusted. If the ignition key is removed and the door is opened with the exterior lighting on, a buzzer sounds. In cool and damp weather, condensation may form on the headlights, turn signals and taillights due to the difference in temperature outside and inside. After some time after the headlights are turned on, the condensation evaporates completely or almost completely. Condensation does not affect the service life of the lighting devices in any way.
