The drive shaft joints are protected by rubber seals (anthers) from moisture and dirt. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly check these cuffs to see if cracks have formed on them.
Raise one drive wheel accordingly and secure the vehicle.
Slowly turn the corresponding shaft and at the same time inspect the cuff for cracks or holes. Traces of grease may also indicate a leak.
Are the clamps tight?
Damaged seals should be replaced as soon as possible, otherwise penetrating water will destroy the joints, and replacing them is quite an expensive undertaking!
