Removal
Remove the wheel drive shaft as described above.
Remove the clamps and remove the protective cover.
Remove the retaining ring.
Using a bronze drift, knock the outer joint off the shaft, applying force to the collar.
Installation
Apply 90g of G6 type grease to the joint for vehicles with 4 - cylinder engines and 120g for vehicles with 5 - cylinder engines.
Press the joint onto the shaft using a plastic mallet until the retaining ring fits into the groove of the joint.
Install the protective cover and secure it with new clamps.
Replace the wheel drive pivot shaft.
