Electronic transistor switch
The electronic switch contains a powerful transistor that turns the current supply to the ignition coil on and off (or to the ignition coils). Thus, the huge voltage cannot interfere with the operation of the sensitive electronics of the control unit. However, the transistor supplies current at a different moment than the Hall sensor (models with 4- and 5-cylinder engines) or ignition timing sensor (models with 6-cylinder engines) supply their impulses. The control unit independently determines the correct ignition moment, thereby giving the on/off impulse.
