Note. On vehicles with an electronic damping control system, adapting the adjustment position and checking the main headlight adjustments is necessary in the following cases: the support arm has been removed and installed, the subframe has been replaced. Installation work was carried out on the vehicle level sensor, the vehicle level sensor was replaced, the bolted connection of the connecting rod from the ride height sensor on the support arm was loosened.
On vehicles with electronic damping control, the adjustment position has been re-adapted. After recalibrating the adjustment position on vehicles with lane assist, the lane departure warning control unit -J759- must be recalibrated.
Unscrew nut -1. and remove the cover -2-.
Disconnect connector -2-. Unscrew the nut -3-. Unscrew bolt -1-. Remove vehicle ride height sensor -4-.
Installation
Install in reverse order. In this case, the following must be taken into account: install only the sensor of the same design. The clamp on the sensor holder must be installed in the subframe. The sensor lever must be facing backwards. After loosening, check the basic headlight setting. After removing and installing the vehicle level sensor or loosening the linkages on vehicles with electronic damping control, the standard suspension position must be re-adjusted. After recalibrating the adjustment position on vehicles with lane assist, the lane departure warning control unit -J759- must be recalibrated.
