6. Remove screws, cover, strainer and gasket.
7. Clean the pan and strainer with methanol, dry them.
8. Install strainer, cover and pan in reverse order. Use new gaskets and tighten the screws with the specified tightening torque specification.
9. Install the dipstick tube, tighten the union nut and mounting bolt.
10. Wipe around the top of the dipstick tube then remove the dipstick.
11. With the vehicle on the ground, pour 2.5 liters of fluid into the transmission through the dipstick tube using a clean funnel.
12. Apply the parking brake, start the engine, set the idle speed, then select each gear position once.
13. With the engine idling, move the selector lever to the 'P' position. Remove and clean the dipstick, then insert and check that the fluid level is at the 20°C mark. If not, add more fluid. Install the level probe.
14. Drive approximately 10 km to warm up the transmission fluid to normal operating temperature.
15. Set the car on a level level, the lever in the 'P' position, apply the parking brake. At idle, remove and clean the dipstick. Insert it and check that the liquid level is between the minimum and maximum marks. If necessary, add fluid to the maximum mark. Do not overfill the transmission, because this will lead to a breakdown in its operation - excess fluid must be drained.
16. Install the dipstick and turn off the engine.
