Perform the following procedures at the intervals given in "Technical maintenance" at the beginning of the guide.
Checking the transmission fluid level

1. To accurately check the fluid level, the transmission must be warmed up to normal operating temperature, usually by driving about 10 km.
2. With the vehicle on the ground and the selector lever in the "P" position, apply the parking brake, idle the engine, remove and clean the dipstick. Reinsert it and check that the fluid level is between the minimum and maximum marks. If necessary, add fluid to the maximum mark. The amount of fluid to raise the level from the minimum to the maximum mark is 0.23 liters. Take care not to overfill.
