Ignition distributor
Bosch branded ignition distributor sensor, four-cylinder, with vacuum and centrifugal ignition timing controls (the sensor-distributor of engines YP, YZ has a vacuum regulator of advance and delay of ignition), with high voltage distribution box with axial leads, with built-in microelectronic sensor (generator) control pulses with a change in the phase angle of the resulting voltage. It is driven by a helical gear of the intermediate shaft. Direction of rotation left (camshaft drive side). The voltage generated by the generator sensor is in the range of 0-2 V. The resistance of the distributor rotor (marking «R1»), Ohm: 1000.
Note. Since July 1985, a speed limiter has been built into the rotor of the ignition distributor for OT and DS engines, which limits the engine mode to 6150-6450 rpm.
Numbers of sensors-distributors of ignition according to the Bosch catalog:
- engines YP, YZ: 0 221 122 023;
- engine EP: 056 905 200 J (until August 1983); 056 905 205 L (from August 1983);
- engine OT: 026 905 206 (until July 1985); 026 905 206 AD (since July 1985);
- engine DS: 026 905 206 F (until July 1985); 026 905 206 J (since July 1985);
- DZ engine. 026 905 206 A (until July 1985); 026 905 205 AA (since July 1985).
Ignition timing up to TDC:
- motors YP, YZ: O*1);
- motor EP: 9°±1*2),3); 6°±1* 2),4);
- motors DS, OS: 18°±1°*1);
- motor DZ: 6°±1°2).
1) With a hose connected to the vacuum regulator.
2) With the hose disconnected from the vacuum regulator.
3) Before July 1983
4) Since July 1983
Note. When checking the ignition distributor removed from the engine, divide the values \u200b\u200bon the graph by two. When checking on the engine, add the value of the initial ignition moment.
Switch
The switch converts the control pulses of the generator sensor into current pulses in the primary winding of the ignition coil. It has a seven-pin connector (plug no. 7 reserved). 1.5 s after the stop of the ignition distribution sensor roller, the special purpose of the switch smoothly breaks the power circuit of the ignition coil, preventing sparking. This prevents excessive heating of the ignition coil with a low primary resistance value.
