Only in the lowest-power version of the Audi-100 (with a 74 kW engine) the instrument cluster is equipped with a large clock with a regular dial and hands as standard. In all other, more powerful Audi models, this place is occupied by a tachometer combined with a small digital clock. If there are small additional instruments on the right side of the instrument panel, then a clock with a dial is also built in there.
Both types of watch movements are quartz and operate extremely accurately.
If the clock does not work, then the search for the cause of the malfunction is limited to checking the fuse and the power supply wire. Repair of digital clocks is impossible in principle, repair of clocks with hands should be carried out only in a specialized workshop.
