Unscrew the "arrow" nut on the right side member and release the ground cables.

Disconnect the plug connectors "1" and "2" of the radiator fan by moving the latch back "arrow" and pressing on the locking tabs. Release the wiring harness.

Disconnect the air duct hose from the air duct and place it aside; to do this, loosen the "arrow" clamp.

On a car with an independent heater, unscrew the nut, open the clamp "3" and remove the exhaust pipe "2" of the independent heater.

Unscrew bolts "1" and nuts "3" on the left and right and remove the radiator frame cross members "2".

Place a device for filling and pumping out oil under the separation point. Disconnect the ATF lines "arrows" at the disconnect points on the right side of the engine. Close open lines and pipes with clean plugs from the VAS 6122 engine plug kit.

Remove the "arrow" air duct.

Disconnect plug "1" of the air flow meter "G70". Unscrew bolt "3" and release exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 "G450" "pos. 4" on the air duct pipe. Release the air duct plug connector "2". Remove the air duct hose with the air flow meter "G70" by loosening the hose clamp "5" and opening the clamping clamps "arrows".

Disconnect vacuum line "1". Remove air intake housing. filter, disconnect the plug connector "2" of the air bypass valve on the back side. filter "N275" and release the electrical wire.

Place a rag under the disconnection area to collect any escaping hydraulic oil. Cut cable tie "4". Loosen hydraulic line "1" with clamp "3094" and disconnect by loosening hose clamp "2". Disconnect (if available) plug connector "2". "Pos. 1" should not be taken into account.

Unscrew bolt "2", remove the refrigerant line from the compressor and put it aside. Close open lines and pipes with clean plugs from the engine plug kit "VAS 6122". "Pos. 1, 3" do not take into account.

Remove coolant hose "3" from the expansion tank. Ignore "Pos. 1, 2" and "arrows".

Remove the "arrow" gasket. Remove the water tank cover.

Unlock the lock "arrow A" and open the cover "arrow B".

Loosen the nuts on wires "1...3". Remove connector "4" from the bracket and disconnect it. Unscrew bolt "5" and remove branch pipe 2 cl. 30 "TV22" from the "arrow" stretcher.

Unlock the retainers from the wheel arch using a 5.5 open-end wrench "pos. 1" and remove the cable entry "2" upwards. Release the wiring harness "3" going to the generator and starter using the "80-200" release lever.

Cable channel - option 1: release the cable channel by unlocking the lock "arrow B" and pulling the cable channel upwards "arrow A".

Cable channel - option 2: open cable channel "1" by unlocking the "arrow" latch and releasing the wiring harness.

Manually insert refrigerant lines "A" and "C" until they stop into the connecting element "B" of the refrigerant line with the internal heat exchanger. Spray the area around the refrigerant lines with silicone-free lubricant. Push the air conditioning line puller, installation "T40149/1" onto the refrigerant line "A" and the air conditioning line puller, installation "T40149/2" onto the refrigerant line "C" until it clicks, due to which the clamps are released. Using a climate control line puller, remove the refrigerant lines "A" and "C" from the connecting element "B" of the refrigerant line with the internal heat exchanger.

If the refrigerant lines are not removable, do not rotate them in the "C" connection. In this case, cut the "B" connections and remove the "A" retaining rings. When cutting, be careful not to damage the "C" refrigerant line connection with the internal heat exchanger.

Unscrew the nut "1" and tilt the filler neck of the washer fluid reservoir slightly upwards "arrow A". Remove the filler neck "2" with the filler tube from the washer fluid reservoir, passing it through the body opening "arrow B".

On a vehicle with an independent heater, unscrew bolts "2" and put aside pump block "1".

Unscrew bolts "1" and nuts "2" and remove stretcher "3".

Unscrew the arrow bolts and remove the cover of the motorcycle switching unit. compartment. Unscrew nut "1" and release the wire.

Remove the fasteners "arrow A" and open the cover "arrow B" of the engine control unit.

Unscrew the arrow bolts and remove the front cross member.

Do not bend the connecting element in the front exhaust pipe more than 10°. Unscrew the threaded connections "arrows", slide the clamping sleeve back and remove the exhaust pipe.

Prepare the lifting table: Equip the lifting table "VAS 6131 A" with a set of fasteners for Audi "VAS 6131/10" and additional set "VAS 6131/13" as follows.

First, screw the conductors to the lifting table by hand. Install the lifting table "VAS 6131 A" horizontally. Monitor the level (peephole) on the receiving platform. Install conductors from "VAS 6131/10" at the rear left and right on the front threaded connections of the subframe strut, as shown in the figure.

Install conductors from "VAS 6131/13" left and right on the lower part of the wheel hub bearing housing, as shown in the figure.

Remove the noise insulation screen clamps from the cross member. Install the fastening elements from "VAS 6131/10" left and right at the rear on the crossbar, as shown in the picture. Turn all the lead screws of the conductors upwards so that all the mounting protrusions enter the mounting points.

Install the fastening elements from "VAS 6131/10" and "VAS 6131/13" under the receiving pipe, as shown in the figure. Screw the support plates of the fastening elements to the VAS 6131 A lift with a torque of 20 Nm.

Designate mont. the position of the subframe on the longitudinal members with a felt-tip pen. Loosen bolts "2" and "3" of the subframe crosswise in several stages. "Pos. 1" should not be taken into account.

Unscrew the tunnel cross member arrow bolts.

Unscrew bolt "2" on the left and right.

Risk of damage to hose and wire connections, as well as motor. compartment. Make sure that all hose and wire connections between the engine, transmission, subframe, and body are disconnected. When lowering, carefully remove the power unit with the subframe from the motorcycle. compartment. Lower the power unit down.
