Order of execution
1. Touch all electrical wires, as well as the connections of control devices, only with the ignition off, this also applies to connecting and disconnecting them.
2. Disconnect the battery only when the ignition is off.
3. If the engine is to be cranked by the starter without starting it, the ignition must be disconnected (see next section).
4. When washing the engine, the ignition must also be turned off.
5. To start the engine with a dead battery using a boost charger, it must be connected for a maximum of one minute and the voltage must not exceed 16.5 V.
6. If a defect exists or is suspected in the ignition system, turn off the ignition when towing the vehicle (see next section).
7. Do not connect a capacitor to terminal 1 of the ignition coil.
8. Do not change the ignition distributor of the 74 kW engine to any other, but use only the original part with the required resistance. The same applies to ignition wires and spark plug connectors on all engines.
