Inspection, installation and repair work may only be performed by trained specialists. When connecting the pretensioner, all mechanical parts, including the 3-point seat belt, must be correctly secured. Do not open or repair seat belt pretensioner parts; always use new parts only. It is not allowed to install seat belt pretensioners on vehicles that have been dropped from a height of more than 50 cm from the surface. Seat belt pretensioners with mechanical damage (chips, cracks) are subject to mandatory replacement. The pretensioner module must be installed immediately after it has been removed from the transport container. The pretensioner unit must not be treated with grease, cleaners or similar agents.
