Attention: If the fuel pump diaphragm is damaged, this will lead to problems with the fuel supply. In this case, check the supply pressure of the fuel pump. Should be: 0.35-0.4 bar or 4000 rpm. The return line must be closed at the same time.
Withdrawal
Caution: Do not work near open flames.
Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Pass the pressure and suction hoses with clamps, if there are no clamps, plug the ends of the hoses with screws of a suitable diameter after removal so that gasoline does not leak out.
Remove the fuel hoses on the pump, after completely loosening the clamps
Unscrew the 2 hexagon socket screws and remove the fuel pump together with the insulating flange.
Installation
Check the insulating flange for damage and replace if necessary.
Check, moving back and forth, the ease of movement of the pusher.
Fit fuel pump with insulating flange and new sectional seal and screw in with 20 Nm.
Put on the fuel hoses and secure with clamps. The top hose goes from the gas tank or fuel filter, the bottom hose goes to the carburetor or vapor separator.
Connect the earth cable to the battery and, with the engine running, check the pump for fuel leakage.
