Removal

Unscrew the 2 air filter cover bolts.
Open the lock and remove the air filter cover.
Remove the filter element.

Unscrew the 3 filter housing fastening nuts. Make sure that the nuts do not fall into the carburetor.
Remove the air hose from the headlight cover.
Remove the crankcase ventilation hose from the cylinder head. If the hose is secured with a clamp, use the HAZET 798-4 pliers.
Lift the lower part of the air filter, release the fuel line. Remove the vacuum hose with the black connection point at the bottom of the air filter housing. To do this, insert a screwdriver between the mounting spring and the hose and slightly press the spring.

Installation
Attach the vacuum hose to the air temperature regulator. Make sure the retaining spring is secure.
Install the air filter housing on the carburetor and simultaneously place the heated air hose on the branch pipe.
Place the crankcase ventilation hose on the cylinder head and secure it with a clamp.
If there is slight contamination, knock out the filter element with your palm. Replace an oily or sooty filter.
Insert the filter element.
Put the cover on so that the recess fits onto the protrusion of the filter housing.
Close the clamp and screw on the air filter cover.
Insert the air hose into the headlight cover.
