The toe-in adjustment must be performed on both steering rods by rotating both threaded elements. The steering tip joints must not have any play. The protective covers must not be damaged. Otherwise, they must be replaced immediately.
Removal
Leave the car standing on its wheels.
Unscrew the steering rods from the grip.
Caution: The vehicle must be on its wheels, otherwise the rack may jam.
Loosen the wheel bolts.
Raise the car, remove the wheel.
Unscrew the steering rod joint nut.
Release the steering tip joint using a standard puller.

Remove the steering rod.
Installation
Replace the rod or joint.
When unscrewing the steering tip, count the turns. Screw the new tip on by the same number of turns
Bring the new rod to the same size as the old one, and if necessary, unscrew the threaded element after unfastening it from both sides.
Tighten the locknuts to 40 Nm.
Insert the steering rod and secure it with a new self-locking nut onto the clamp, without tightening.
Insert the joint, tighten the new self-locking nut to 30 Nm.
Put the wheel on and lower the car.
Only now tighten the bolt on the grip with a force of 45 Nm.
Adjust the toe-in (see "Repair characteristics").
