When removing and installing the steering wheel, the front wheels must be in position "directly". There are marks on the steering wheel and column, which, when the steering wheel is installed, are opposite each other. If the marks do not match, measure and record the offset. Install the steering wheel in its original position. Before installing, check that the direction indicator lever is in the middle position, otherwise the return cams will be damaged. After installation, take a test drive. When driving in a straight line, the steering wheel spokes must be horizontal, otherwise rearrange the steering wheel.
The adjustment is removed by hand, however, quite a lot of effort is required. First remove the top half of the trim and release the coil springs from the top two attachment points, then release the bottom half without removing the trim. Slide the trim to the left until the hook on the right is released and the trim can be removed. At the same time, pulling to the right is not strong, because. the hook may break or the latch may break. The fastening hooks on the left and right are identical, so the trim can be moved to the right and removed from the left. Finally, disconnect the electrical wire from the overlay.
