Disassembly and assembly of the gearbox
1. Clutch module.
2. Clutch release lever with release bearing and retaining spring.
3. Bolt: 8 Nm; 2 pcs.; insert, lubricating with thread locking compound "AMV 185 101 A1".
4. Guide sleeve: remove (if available) grease from the guide bushing.
5. Drive shaft seal.
6. Retaining ring: determine the thickness, insert into the groove around the perimeter of the first. shaft.
7. Washer.
8. Carter KP.
9. Secondary shaft cover: always subject to replacement.
10. Bolt: 110 Nm; for the second shaft; always subject to replacement.
11. Oil drain plug: 40 Nm.
12. Bolt: 24 Nm;steel bolts (M8; length 25 mm); 4 pcs.; install with thread locking agent "AMV 185 101 A1".
13. Shift shaft with cover: various versions are installed (with and without neutral position sensor. provisions of the CP "G701"); lubricate the seal before installation. the surface of the gearshift mechanism cover on the gearbox cover with sealant "AMV 188 001 02".
14. Bolt: 27 Nm;steel bolts (M8; length 30 mm); 3 pcs.; for support to the gearbox cover; insert, lubricating with thread locking compound "AMV 185 101 A1".
15. Gear Detection Sensor "F208": 20 Nm; no need to remove for disassembling and assembling the gearbox.
16. Driven gear/cylindrical transmission.
17. Retaining ring.
18. Roller bearing: take into account installation. position, the larger diameter of the roller bearing separator is directed towards the locking cover.
19. Bolt: 10 Nm and turn further by 90°;aluminum bolts (M8; length 42 mm); 11 pcs.; always subject to replacement.
20. Bolt; 24 Nm;steel bolts (M8; length 63 mm); 2 pcs.
21. Lid.
22. Mounting pin: 1 pc.; for centering the locking cover on the gearbox cover.
23. Driven gear/cylindrical gear: fit onto secondary shaft; take into account mont. position: the side with the smaller diameter of the gear ring of the gearbox with switching clutches "arrow" is directed towards the locking cover.
24. Gearbox cover.
25. Bolt: 24 Nm;steel bolts (M8; length 42 mm); 16 pcs.
26. Bolt: 24 Nm; for rear gear shaft. stroke on the gearbox cover.
27. Sealing ring: always replaceable; installed on the gearbox with a neutral sensor. position of the gearbox "G701" or a plug.
28. Bolt: 24 Nm;steel bolt (M8; length 25 mm); for neutral sensor. position of the gearbox "G701" or plug and simultaneously for the plug/shift shaft on the gearbox cover; not available in all trim levels; install with thread locking agent "AMV 185101 A1".
29. Neutral sensor. gearbox position "G701" or plug; neutral sensor. gearbox positions for vehicles with start/stop system; the plug is installed instead of the neutral sensor. gearbox "G701"; not available in all trim levels. If instead of a neutral sensor. if a plug is installed in the "G701" gearbox position, it does not need to be removed during disassembly and assembly of the gearbox.
30. Mounting pin: 2 pcs.
31. Bolt: 24 Nm; steel bolts (M8: length 25 mm); 3 pcs.; install with thread locking agent "AMV 1851 01 A1".
32. Left shaft with flange with shaft support.
