Central locking system

Selective door unlocking

Automatic closing ("Auto Lock")

In this case, pull the door handle once to unlock the car, and then pull the handle a second time to open the car; to avoid discharging the battery and thus maintain the vehicle's starting power for as long as possible, the energy management system alternately switches off unnecessary comfort functions. The driver can use the radio or MMI to determine which doors should be unlocked by the central locking system. Select: CAR function key > central locking > unlocking single doors. If the "Unlock individual doors" menu item is set to "On," then pressing the radio-controlled key's unlock button once will unlock only the driver's door.
