Tailgate: handle.
In an emergency, the trunk door can be unlocked from the inside.
Trunk compartment detail: access to the emergency release device.
Rear bench seat: Bowden cable for emergency release.
Emergency release of the tailgate can be performed from the trunk or from the rear bench seat.
Hard seat back
Carefully pull the left edge of the rear bench seat out of the holder until the Bowden cable is accessible. Remove adhesive tape "B". Pull loop "A" until the trunk lid is unlocked. Re-glue the Bowden cable and insert the bench seat into the holder.
Reclining seat back
Use the emergency key to pry the cover off and remove it. To unlock the trunk lid, press the lever in the direction of the arrow.
Caution! In vehicles with a rigid seatback, after emergency release of the tailgate, ensure that the clip under the rear bench seat is secured in the mounting loop.
