The forged steering knuckle and suspension strut are screwed together.

2 nuts, 65 Nm
Self-locking, always replace.

4 suspension strut
The drive shaft does not need to be removed to remove the strut. After installation, measure the geometry of the front suspension.
5 seal
Replace always. Remove the protective film and paste into the hinge.
6 drive shaft
As of 9.88, no more compound is applied to the splines. To remove, unscrew at the flange and also unscrew the fixing bolt hub/drive shaft. When removing, rotate the steering accordingly.
7 strap
8 cylindrical bolt
Tightening torque for the M8 bolt - 45 Nm; M10 - 80 Nm.
9 nut, tighten 80 Nm + 90°
Self-locking, always replace.
10 spacer
11 tie rod
Remove from the swing arm with a two-jaw puller.
12 knuckle with hub
When pressing out the trunnion of the support, in no case give out a slot in the steering knuckle (pivot pin seat)
13 hex bolt
Be sure to replace; the head of the bolt points in the direction of travel.
14 wishbone with ball joint
When pressing out the support, do not distribute the slot in the steering knuckle. Ball joint trunnion diameter 19.0 mm.
15 nut, 30 Nm
Self-locking, always replace
16 hex bolt
Be sure to replace.
17 nut, 65 Nm
Self-locking. always replace.
18 hexagonal combination bolt 120 Nm + 90°tighten Be sure to replace.
Attention: You can only loosen or tighten the bolt when the car is on wheels on the ground (risk of accident).

Withdrawal
Remove wheel cover.
Unscrew the fixing nut of the hub on the drive shaft and remove together with the washer.
Attention: the car must be on the ground. Danger of accident.
Loosen wheel bolts. Raise the car, remove the wheel.
Note: On vehicles with forged steering knuckles, the suspension strut can be unscrewed from the steering knuckle. In this case, it is not necessary to remove the drive shaft. Before removing, mark the position of the bolts with a chisel.
Loosen the brake caliper.
Remove the brake hose holder and hang the caliper to the body on a wire.
Attention: Do not disconnect the brake hose from the caliper.
Remove brake disc.
Remove the ball joint and steering knuckle bolt.
Loosen the self-locking nut of the steering tip hinge, press the hinge with a conventional puller, unscrew the nut.
Unscrew the nut from the connecting rod.
Press the suspension arm down to pull the pivot pin out of the steering knuckle.
For vehicles with ABS (anti-lock brake system) remove the speed sensor Remove the wires from the holder on the steering knuckle.
For vehicles with mechanical steering, remove the stabilizer bar.
Pull the drive shaft out of the steering knuckle.
Support the A-pillar from below with a jack or secure it against tipping over.
Remove the front pillar cover in the engine compartment.
