Pull up the engine cover "1" and "2" "arrows".

Install the "10-222 A" crossbar with the "T40093/6" adapter on the shock absorber strut supports on the left and right, as shown in the figure. Hang the lead screws "10-222 A/11" to the left and right engine lugs. Pre-tension the engine using the lead screws. Remove the front wheels: right and left.

Remove the sound insulation on the right and left "1" in the wheel arch.

Remove the noise insulation screens by loosening the fastening elements "1...3".

Never lower the vehicle onto its wheels unless the subframe support, steering gear, or subframe cross-joint is properly installed. Remove nut "1" of the power steering hydraulic oil line. Loosen the "arrow" bolts and remove the subframe crosspiece. The figure shows the installation. position on a vehicle with dynamic steering.

Remove the subframe shields "1" on the right and left. To do this, unscrew the arrow bolts and remove the shield inward.

Unscrew the "arrow" nuts of the left front muffler.

Unscrew the "arrow" nuts of the right pre-muffler.

Loosen and move back clamps "1" and "2", remove the left and right front mufflers.

If present, unscrew the "arrow" bolts and remove the heat shield of the propeller shaft "A".

The propeller shaft is bolted on the gearbox side: Unscrew the bolts connecting the propeller shaft and gearbox, while holding it from turning using the counter support "T10172" with "T10172/5". Move the propeller shaft toward the rear final drive housing; CV joints are movable in the axial direction. Tie the cardan shaft to the side.

The propeller shaft is inserted from the gearbox side: Remove the propeller shaft.

Disconnect plug "2" of engine speed sensor "G28" and release the wire. "Pos. 1" should not be taken into account.

Remove cover "1" from the bottom of the "arrow" gearbox.

Insert the guide pins of the adapter "T40058" as shown below: the large diameter "arrow 1" faces the engine, the small diameter "arrow 2" faces the adapter.

When loosening the clutch module bolts of the driven disk, hold the crankshaft with the adapter "T40058" and a curved socket wrench to prevent it from turning. During the final turn, rotate the crankshaft only in the direction of engine rotation "arrow".

Unscrew the 6 bolts "arrow" of the clutch module of the driven disk, to do this, rotate the module above the crankshaft by 60° in the direction of engine rotation.

Unscrew bolts "7...11" connecting the engine/gearbox.

Disconnect the cardan joint from the steering gear only when the front wheels are installed straight. wheels. Do not change the position of the steering wheel or steering gear; if necessary, secure the steering wheel with duct tape. Unscrew the "arrow" bolt of the universal joint. Press the steering gear cardan joint and move it fully upward.

Install a device for pumping and collecting oil under the disconnect point of the hydraulic line "1" on the steering gear. Unscrew the "arrow" bolts, disconnect the hydraulic line "1" from the steering gear and put it aside. Close open lines and pipes with clean plugs from the VAS 6122 engine plug kit.

Unscrew bolt "1", press the mounting plate away from the gearbox and move the "arrow" downwards.

Unscrew bolt "2" and tie the clutch slave cylinder to the side of the motorcycle. compartment. After removing the working cyl. do not press the clutch pedal. Unscrew nut "1" of the gear shift rod.

Do not press on the shift shaft "1" with a crowbar or knock it down with a hammer. Install the puller "T40160" and remove the gearbox lever "1".

Install the tilting device with the mounting bracket "T40173" under the gearbox and secure it with the harness "1", as shown in the figure. Unscrew the tunnel cross member arrow bolts.

First, lower the gearbox using a tilting device by dimension "a." Dimension "a" = maximum 100 mm. Tighten the lead screws "10-222 A/11" of the "10-222 A" crossmember. To access the lead screws "10-222 A/11" with the vehicle raised, use the "VAS 5085" stepladder.

Disconnect and release the connector "1" of the gear detection sensor "F208" using the puller "T40138". Unscrew the bolt "2" of the push rod. Unscrew bolt "3" of the connecting rod.

Unscrew the arrow bolts and remove the heat shield of the right drive shaft. The figure shows the installation position with the gearbox removed.

Loosen the arrow bolts and remove the left drive shaft heat shield.

Unscrew the left and right articulated shafts from the shafts with the gearbox flange "arrows".

Unscrew the "arrow" nuts and bolt "1", press the right catalytic converter to the right and fix it.

To loosen the "arrow" mounting nuts, use the right catalytic converter "A" of the exhaust manifold and a 12 mm "T40220" wrench. Secure the right catalytic converter against falling by securing it with one nut.

Remove bolt "1" from the starter. Remove bolt "4" and leave the starter in position. position. -Pos. 2...3- do not take into account.

Loosen the remaining bolts "3...6" securing the engine to the gearbox. Remove the gearbox from the engine and carefully lower it using a tilting jack. When replacing a removed gearbox, the following parts must be reinstalled on the new gearbox: right and left exhaust system mount "1", tunnel crossmember with gearbox mount and gearbox support.

If necessary, remove the clutch module.
