Removal and installation the left shaft with flange, clutch module, cylindrical wheels, shift shaft and gearbox cover (Audi A4 B8)

1. Clutch module.
2. Clutch release lever with release bearing and retaining spring.
3. Bolt: 8 Nm, 2 pcs.; use with adhesive fixer -AMV 185 101 A1-.
4. Safety plate: not available in all configurations; mounting position: countersink for bolts facing the clutch module. Absent since 02.2008, also absent when installing a new guide bushing.
5. Guide sleeve: remove (if available) grease from the guide bushing.
6. Drive shaft seal.
7. Retaining ring: insert into the groove around the perimeter of the first. shaft.
8. Adjusting washer.
9. Carter KP.
10. Locking cover: for the second shaft: must always be replaced.
11. Bolt: 110 Nm; for the second shaft; always subject to replacement.
12. Oil drain plug: 40 Nm.
13. Bolt: 24 Nm;steel bolts (M8; length 25 mm); 4 pcs.; use with adhesive fixer -AMV 185 101 A1-.
14. Shift shaft with cover: various versions are installed (with and without neutral position sensor. provisions of the CP "G701"); before installing the sealing surface of the gearbox cover, it should be covered with sealant -AMV 188 001 02-.
15. Bolt: 27 Nm;steel bolts (M8; length 30 mm); 3 pcs.; for support to the gearbox cover; use with adhesive fixer -AMV 185 101 A1-.
16. Gear Detection Sensor "F208": 20 Nm; should not be removed during dismantling and installation of the gearbox.
17. Driven wheel/end gear.
18. Retaining ring.
19. Bearing shield: take into account installation. position to the gearbox cover.
20. Drive wheel/end gear.
21. Needle bearing: place on the secondary shaft.
22. Gearbox cover.
23. Bolt: 24 Nm;steel bolts (M8; length 42 mm); 16 pcs.
24. Bolt: 24 Nm; for rear transmission shaft. stroke on the gearbox cover.
25. Sealing ring: always replaceable; installed on the gearbox with a neutral sensor. position of the gearbox "G701" or a plug.
26. Bolt: 24 Nm;steel bolt (M8; length 25 mm); for neutral sensor. position of the gearbox "G701" or plug and simultaneously for the plug/shift shaft on the gearbox cover; not available in all trim levels; use with adhesive fixer -AMV 185101 A1-.
27. Neutral sensor. gearbox position "G701" or plug: neutral sensor. gearbox positions for vehicles with a start/stop system; the plug is installed instead of the neutral sensor. provisions of the CP "G701".

Instructions: If instead of the neutral sensor. if a plug is installed in the "G701" gearbox position, it does not need to be removed during disassembly and assembly of the gearbox.

28. Mounting pin: 2 pcs.
29. Bolt: 24 Nm;steel bolts (M8; length 25 mm); 3 pcs.; use with adhesive fixer -AMV 185 101 A1-.
30. Left shaft with flange: with shaft support.
