If a tire gets punctured, stop as far away from traffic as possible. Apply the parking brake to prevent the vehicle from moving unintentionally. Engage first gear (manual transmission) or move the gearshift lever to position "P" (automatic transmission). Make sure the tire can be repaired using a tire repair kit. Disembark all passengers and ensure that they are outside the danger zone. Remove the sealant and compressor from the trunk. Put on a sticker with the text "top speed 80 km/h" (maximum speed 80 km/h), which is located together with the container with sealant, on the dashboard so that it is in the driver's field of vision.
Filling a tire with sealant
Before filling the tire with sealant, shake the container with sealant thoroughly. Screw the included inlet hose completely onto the container with sealant. As a result, a hole automatically appears in the lid film. Remove the cap from the tire valve and unscrew the valve core using the supplied tire valve remover. Place the valve core on a clean surface. Remove the filler hose plug and place the hose onto the tire valve. Hold the container upside down and pour the entire contents of the container into the tire. Then disconnect the hose and screw the valve core firmly into the tire valve.
Inflating a tire
Screw the compressor filling hose onto the tire valve and insert the plug into the cigarette lighter. Inflate the tire to 2.0 to 2.5 bar and check it using a pressure gauge. If the air pressure in the tire has not reached the required value, slowly drive the car about 10 meters forward or backward. This ensures better distribution of the sealant. If the air pressure in the tire is still below the specified value, then repairing the tire with sealant is not possible.
Final inspection
After about ten minutes of driving, stop and check the air pressure in the tire. If the air pressure in the tire is less than 1.3 bar, the tire is too badly damaged. Further movement is prohibited! Seek qualified assistance. Do not operate the compressor continuously for more than 6 minutes. Otherwise, the compressor may overheat. In this case, let the compressor cool down, after which it can be used again. If the sealant is released, allow it to dry and then remove it as a film. After repairing the tire, purchase a new container with sealant at a service station.
