If the engine does not start and the starter does not turn
If your vehicle model is equipped with an automatic transmission, make sure that the gear selector is in the "P" or "N" position.
Open the hood and make sure the battery terminals and clamps are clean and tight.
Turn on the headlights and try to start the engine. If the headlights become significantly weaker when you turn on the starter, then the battery is most likely discharged. This problem can be easily overcome by starting the engine from another battery (see below), for example, using the battery of your friend's car.
If the engine does not start, although the starter rotates normally
Is there fuel in the tank?
Are the electrical components under the hood damp? Turn on the ignition and wipe the suspicious areas with a dry cloth. Spray with a desiccant aerosol (WD-40 or similar) on the connectors of the electrical circuits of the ignition system and fuel system. Pay special attention to the high-voltage wires and the ignition coil.
Fig. 6. Check the reliability of electrical connectors (with ignition off) and spray them with a desiccant spray (like WD-40), if there is a suspicion that the wiring is damp.

Fig. B. Check the reliability of the wiring connection to the MAF pilot (mass air flow sensor).
Fig. C. Check the reliability of the wiring connections to the ignition coil (hell ignition system).
Fig. D. Make sure that the high-voltage wire tips are securely connected to the spark plugs and ignition coil by first removing the top engine cover.
