A. When the ignition key is turned to the start position, the starter starts the engine too slowly or does not start at all | 1. Control lights are on weakly or not on at all

Start the engine with auxiliary wire
Check wire connections Repair starter Briefly tap on the electromagnetic switch. If the starter continues doesn't work, then: check graphite brushes Replace solenoid switch
Have your assistant turn the ignition key to the engine start position
and tap with a wrench on the electromagnetic switch
Check the wire with a test lamp |
B. Starter runs but does not crank engine | 1. Stuck trigger
2. Damaged gear teeth or engine flywheel |
Repair starter
Move the vehicle slightly while in gear. Start the engine again. Replace damaged parts at a car repair shop |
C. Electromagnetic switch in quick succession turns on and off, starter does not work | The battery is very discharged when the electromagnetic switch is turned on the voltage drops and it turns off again | Charge your battery |
D. Starter continues to run even though key is released | 1. The electromagnetic switch is stuck and does not turn off
2. Faulty ignition/start switch |
Turn off the ignition immediately, in extreme cases, disconnect the battery.

E. The gear does not come out of the grooves after turning on the engine | 1. Start lever return spring not working or broken
2. Engine gear and/or flywheel teeth are dirty or damaged |
Switch off the ignition immediately. Repair at a car repair shop
Clean or replace damaged parts at an auto repair shop |
