Remove the toothed belt protective cover by releasing the "arrow" clamps.
To loosen the poly V-belt, turn the tensioner clockwise "arrow". Remove the poly V-belt from the generator pulley. Secure the tensioner with the "T40098" lock.
Loosen the hose clamp "2" and remove the air duct hose "3" on the throttle body "J338". Unscrew the bolt "1".
Unscrew nut "3" and disconnect connector "1". Remove coolant pump "V51" "pos. 2" with bracket and put aside with coolant hoses connected.
Unscrew the double bolt "2" and remove the cooling system pipe "1" with the coolant hoses connected in the "direction of the arrow".
Unscrew terminal 30 / B+ "pos. 1". Disconnect the electrical plug connection "2".
Unscrew the "arrow" bolts.
If the generator is clamped in the holder, screw the bolts back in by 2 turns. Carefully tap the flat surface of the hammer on the heads of the bolts to unlock the generator mounting bushings. Remove the generator "1" by moving the cooling system pipe to the side.
Installation
Installation in reverse order. To facilitate installation of the generator, move the mounting bolts back a little. The movement of the generator mounting bushings should be facilitated, since otherwise the clamping force of the bushing, despite the corresponding torque, is too low. Put the poly V-belt on the poly V-belt pulleys.

When installing a poly V-belt, it is necessary to ensure that it is positioned correctly on the pulleys. Connect the battery. Start the engine and check the belt movement.
