Removal
Loosen the wheel bolts, lift the car, remove the wheels.
Unscrew the 2 bolts -arrows on the right- of the caliper mount and remove the caliper from the brake disc. The figure shows the front wheel caliper. On the rear wheels, unscrew the 2 bolts with an internal hexagon.
If necessary, release the hose from the steering knuckle.
Hang the caliper on a wire hook so that the brake hose is not stretched or twisted.
Caution: Do not disconnect the brake hose, otherwise you will have to bleed the brake system.

If it is necessary to completely remove the caliper, disconnect the brake hose.
Warning: Brake fluid is leaking. Drain the fluid into a bottle intended only for brake fluid. You can also suck the fluid out of the reservoir. Additionally, disconnect the handbrake cable at the rear brake caliper.
Crush the brake disc.
Caution: The brake disc must not be removed from the hub using force (hammer blows). Instead, use a normal rust remover to avoid damaging the brake disc. If removal is only possible with strong blows from a hammer or puller, replace both brake discs and the corresponding hub bearings for safety reasons. Bearing replacement should be done in a workshop, as this is usually the only place where the appropriate press is available.
Installation
To ensure uniform braking, both discs must have the same surface quality. Therefore, it is necessary to replace or grind both discs at once.
The station can measure the disc runout. The maximum permissible runout measured on the working surface is 0.03 mm. Maximum thickness tolerance is 0.01 mm.
Check the thickness of the disc.
If present, remove rust from the disc flange and hub.
Remove the protective layer from the new disk with nitro solvent.
Place the disc on the hub.
Install the caliper with brake pads. Do not stretch or twist the brake hose. Check the freedom of movement of the brake hose in all wheel positions. Connect the handbrake cable to the rear caliper.
Secure the hose to the steering knuckle.
Tighten the front brake caliper with a torque of 125 Nm; if using old ribbed bolts, clean the ribbing with a wire brush.
Tighten the rear brake caliper with a torque of 65 Nm.
Caution: If the brake hose was removed, reconnect it and bleed air from the system.
Install the wheel, lower the vehicle and tighten the wheel bolts crosswise to 110 Nm.
Caution: Press the brake pedal hard several times until you feel strong resistance.
If the rear disc was removed, adjust the rear brakes.
Check the fluid level in the tank.
