1. Check the air hoses for leaks. All hoses need to be checked - from the thick air intake hose to the small vacuum hose from the pressure regulator.
2. In the order of gaskets for injection valves, as well as gaskets on the flanges of the suction channels?
3. Additional air enters the intake system through leaky areas, i.e. air that the system cannot take into account in the calculations, and therefore the process of preparing the fuel-air mixture is noticeably disturbed. The working mixture is uncontrollably depleted. This leads to disturbances in the operation of the engine - mainly at idle.
4. Warm up the engine and then leave it to idle, open the hood, disconnect the lambda probe connector.
5. Purposefully spray starter fuel (For example, «Startpilot») suction channel flange gaskets and other suspicious components.
6. If the number of revolutions changes when spraying a certain area, then this area is leaking.
7. Are leaks visible on the fuel lines?
8. Disconnect several times and reconnect the wire connectors. Corrosion and unprofessional jerking can damage the contact.
9. Carefully inspect the connectors of the individual nodes of the injection system. They can only be treated with contact spray, bending can lead to malfunctions.
