Get behind the wheel and check one by one:
1. Does the clock with hands work?
2. Turn on the ignition. The battery charge indicator light and the ABS indicator light should light up (goes out after about 2 seconds), aSR indicator light (also about 2 sec), airbag warning light (goes out after about 10 seconds).
3. When the ignition is switched on, the indicator light symbol also lights up briefly while the data of the anti-rollback lock, ignition key and vehicle is compared. When the handbrake is applied, the parking brake indicator light also lights up.
4. Vehicles without an automatic control system: in the light field at the top between the round instruments, the coolant indicator light, oil pressure indicator light and brake fluid level indicator light flash.
5. In cars with an automatic control system, the following message appears in the light field when the ignition is turned on: "Bremslicht" – "brake lights". After a short tap on the brake pedal, the "OK" sign should flash.
6. The fuel gauge and coolant temperature gauge arrows will move along the scale with some slowdown (only when the engine is warm).
7. If additional devices are built in, the voltmeter and engine oil temperature indicator are ready for operation (only when the engine is warm).
8. Turn on the direction indicators: one of the green direction indicator lights flashes rhythmically – depending on the selected direction. Press the hazard warning switch: the hazard warning light flashes (in the switch) and both direction indicator lights.
9. Pull the turn signal lever towards the steering wheel: the turn signal indicator light should flash.
10. Start the engine - does the RPM meter work?
11. During a test drive, check the operation of the speedometer and temperature indicator.
