Poly V-belt drive

1. Poly V-belt: check the degree of wear; before removing, mark the direction of travel with chalk or a felt-tip pen; don't overdo it; when installing, ensure correct position on the pulleys.
2. Torsional vibration damper: with poly V-belt pulley.
3. Washer.
4. Bolt: replace; 20 Nm + turn further by 90°.
5. Intermediate roller of the poly V-belt.
6. Bolt: 23 Nm.
7/8. Roller cover.
9. Bolt: 23 Nm.
10. Intermediate roller of the poly V-belt.
11. Bolt.
12. Three-phase generator.
13. Generator bracket.
14. Bolt: tighten in 2 stages: crosswise 5 Nm, crosswise 40 Nm.
15. Bolt.
16. Pulley of the poly-V belt of the coolant pump.
17. Water pump.
18. Bolt: replace; 50 Nm + turn further by 90°.
19. Tensioner element of the poly V-belt.
20. Gasket: replace.
21. Compressor bracket.
22. Bolt: tighten in 2 stages: crosswise 5 Nm, crosswise 40 Nm.
23. Guide bushing: 2 pcs.
24. Bolt.
25. Air conditioning compressor, installations.

Take off

Remove the engine cover "arrows". Remove the air duct hose by loosening the hose clamp "arrow".

To relieve the poly V-belt tension, tilt the tensioner with the Torx T 60 bit "T40087" clockwise "arrow". Remove the poly V-belt and lock the tensioner element with the locking pin "T10060 A".

Install

Installation in reverse order. Install the poly V-belt onto the pulleys.

When installing a poly V-belt, it is necessary to ensure that it is positioned correctly on the pulleys. Start the engine and check the running of the poly V-belt.

Removal and installation the poly V-belt tensioner

Remove the poly V-belt from the tensioner. Unscrew bolt "2", remove tension element "1" of the poly V-belt.

Installation in reverse order. Install the poly V-belt.

Removal and installation the compressor bracket

Drain the coolant. Remove the compressor. Unscrew the arrow bolts and remove the air conditioning compressor bracket. installations. "Pos. 1, 2" should not be taken into account.
