Front panel center pipe

1. Support cushion.
2. Bolt: 4 pcs.; 20 Nm.
3. Bolt: 3.6 Nm.
4. Bolt: 20 Nm.
5. Central pipe of the front panel.
6. Mounting pin: 20 Nm.
7. Nut: Replace after each removal; 20 Nm.
8. Air intake box holder.
9/11. Bolt: 2 pcs.; 9 Nm.

12. Glove box holder.

Removal

Remove the front panel. Remove the steering column. Disconnect the left air duct of the front panel deflector from the central tube of the front panel. Remove the front panel deflector air duct on the right. Remove fuse box C "SC" on the left and fuse box D "SD" on the right from the central pipe of the front panel. Remove the data bus diagnostic interface "J533" and put it aside. Unscrew bolts "1" on the left and right side of the central pipe support and remove holder "2". Unscrew bolts "3" on the left and right side of the central pipe support.

Unscrew bolt "1" of the air conditioning system on the left and right side of the central pipe support.

Remove the middle defrost vent duct. Unscrew bolt "1" of the air conditioning system on the upper strut of the central pipe of the front panel. Unscrew bolt "2" of the upper strut of the central pipe of the front panel. Unscrew the ground cable from the ground connection point on the tunnel wall and release it. Disconnect and release the connectors from the accelerator pedal module and brake light switch. Remove the right front door sill trim. Disconnect the multi-pin plug connections of the connection module on the right side of the A-pillar. Disconnect the plug connections of the fresh air fan and release the wires.

Unscrew bolts "1" securing the air intake box holder to the central pipe of the front panel. Unscrew nut "2".

Unscrew bolt "1" and nut "2".

Counter on pillar A from the driver's side. 2 nuts "2" and "3" on the mounting bolt "1" and unscrew the mounting bolt.

Pull the central pipe "1" of the front panel from the driver's side, carefully upwards and at the same time detach it from the system. air conditioning "3", from the stop bracket at the top "2" and at the bottom "4". Remove the central tube of the front panel of the A-pillar from the front side. passage, from the set screw. Pull the central pipe of the front panel back, holding it by the upper part, carefully and simultaneously pull it upwards. Remove the central pipe of the front panel from the car interior.

Installation

Carefully install the central pipe "1" of the front panel into the body. Hang the central pipe of the front panel on the system. air conditioning "3" and a stop bracket at the top "2" and bottom "4".

Place the central pipe "4" of the front panel evenly on the A-pillar. Lock 2 nuts "2" and "3" on the mounting pin "1" and screw and tighten the mounting pin into the mount "5" of the A-pillar on the driver's side. Screw the mounting pin all the way in so that the flange touches the A-pillar mounts. Tighten the bolt and nuts of the central pipe of the front panel on the left and right.
