6.1. Drive shaft to hub mounting bolt
2. Remove the wheel and screw the mounting bolts back in by hand.
3. Release the parking brake and completely unscrew the bolt securing the drive shaft to the hub.
4. Remove the rear suspension spring (see Chapter 10).
5. Unscrew the bolts with washers (1 in the illustration) and remove the heat shield. Unscrew the bolts (1).

6. Lift the trapezoidal rod by hand so that the drive shaft can be separated from the differential.
7. Pull the exhaust pipe down (And in the illustration) and press inward (B) so that it can be pulled out of the hub. Pull the exhaust pipe down again and guide the drive shaft out through the housing.

8. Remove the drive shaft (And in the illustration) from under the vehicle, avoiding damage to the casing (B) or body.

9. Installation is performed in the reverse order of dismantling the components. The drive shaft mounting bolt should be pre-tightened to the required force when the vehicle wheels are suspended, and this bolt should be tightened to the specified angle when the vehicle is standing on its wheels.
