1. Check the sealing boots (arrow) of the steering rod ends for cracks.
2. Check if there is any play in the tip. The best way to do this is to place the machine over an inspection pit.
3. Ask an assistant to turn the steering wheel a few times at a small angle, first one way, then the other. When moving the rods and wheels by hand, you can determine whether there is any play in the tips.
4. Check the tight fit of the lock nut 1. The nut must be tightened to a torque of 40 Nm.
If it is necessary to check the play, fastening and sealing boots of the tie rod ends, lift the vehicle so that the wheels do not touch the ground
5. If the cuff is damaged (sealing corrugated cover) the tip in the kit needs to be replaced.
