1. To release the handbrake cable, pull out the lock washer 1. Make sure that the cable corrugated cover is not damaged in the process.
When releasing the handbrake cable, be careful not to damage the boot
2. Remove the mounting screws from the brake caliper housing. In doing so, hold the guide pin with a fork wrench.
3. After dismantling the retaining springs, remove the brake pads. If you intend to use the pads again, mark them and install them in their original location.
4. The brake caliper can only be cleaned with alcohol, do not use any wire brushes.
5. Using special tool 3272, press the piston into the caliper. Gradually press the piston by pressing hard on it and turning the lead screw to the right. The tool belt (arrow) should be adjacent to the caliper.
The piston can only be pressed out using special tool 3272. To do this, the lead screw must be rotated to the right and the knurling to the left
6. Remove the protective film from the back of the brake pads and install them together with the retaining springs.
7. Screw the caliper with new self-locking screws.
8. Attach the handbrake cable.
9. After installation is complete, adjust the handbrake.
