1. Place the vehicle on jack stands and remove the wheel.
After dismantling the wheel, the brake disc sits freely on the hub (if it doesn't rust)
2. Front axle: Loosen the fixing screws of the brake caliper. Remove the caliper from the wheel bearing housing in the direction of the arrow. Hang the caliper on a wire to the body, the caliper should not hang on the brake hose. Rear Axle: Remove the caliper and brake pads as described above. Never unscrew the brake hose, otherwise you will have to remove air from the brake system.
3. Remove the brake disc. If the disc is rusty, hitting hard with a hammer will help, but only if you intend to mount a new disc.
4. Before fitting a new disc, clean the hub. A new brake disc can be protected against corrosion by a layer of varnish, remove this varnish with a solvent.
5. Screw on the brake caliper using new self-locking screws.
6. Mount the wheel.
