Removal
2. Raise the glass completely and remove the door trim panel as described in paragraph 17. For better access, remove the window lift carriage as described in paragraph 21.
3. Tape the glass to the frame so that it does not fall into the door when removing the motor.
4. Disconnect the wiring connector from the motor.
5. Loosen the screws securing the motor to the window lift mechanism, carefully unhook the motor and remove it.
Installation
6. Install the motor, aligning it with the window lift mechanism and install the mounting screws. Tighten the mounting screws gradually and evenly in a diagonal sequence so as not to skew the motor, and tighten them to the specified torque.
7. Connect the wiring connector to the motor and remove the tape from the glass.
8. Install the carriage on the window lifter (if you filmed), as described in paragraph 21.
9. Before installing the trim panel, connect the battery and check the operation of the window lift.
Note: On models equipped with power windows with a safety system that lowers the glass if a foreign object gets under it, you will need to perform the following operation. First, turn the ignition on and off again. Then raise the glass to the stop and hold the switch button in this position for four seconds. Lower the glass and check that it is fully open.
10. Install the trim panel as described in paragraph 17.
