Attention
- When leaving the car, even for a short time, always remove the ignition key from the lock, especially when leaving children in the car. Children can start the engine or turn on electrical appliances (e.g. power windows). Risk of injury! The power windows are only deactivated when the driver's or front passenger's door is opened.
- Inattention or lack of control when using the power windows can lead to serious injury!
- No one should remain in a car locked from the outside, because in an emergency, it will not be possible to open the windows from the inside.
Note. Along with the switches in the driver's door, each of the other doors has an autonomous switch for the corresponding power window.
Controls in the driver's door
The driver can operate all of the vehicle's power windows.
There are two positions for the power window switches:
Lowering windows
- Press the switch and hold it until the glass reaches the desired position.
- To automatically lower the window, briefly press the switch. By briefly pressing the switch again, you can stop the process of lowering the window in any position.
Raising windows
- Pull the switch and hold it until the glass reaches the desired position.
- To automatically raise the window, briefly pull the switch. By repeatedly pulling the switch briefly, you can stop the lifting process in any position.
Interlock switch
The safety switch S can be used to de-energize the power windows in the rear doors. On the rear door side, the power windows only operate when the switch is depressed.
When the power windows of the rear doors are turned off, the symbol in the interlock switch lights up (button is not pressed).
Note. The power windows operate after turning off the ignition for about 10 minutes. However, they immediately turn off when one of the front doors is opened.
Controls in the front passenger door and rear doors
These doors only contain the corresponding power window switch.

- Briefly press the switch to lower the window automatically. By briefly pressing the switch again, you can stop the process of lowering the window in any position.

- Pull the switch and hold it until the glass reaches the desired position.
- To automatically raise the window, briefly pull the switch. By repeatedly pulling the switch briefly, you can stop the lifting process in any position.

Centralized opening and closing of windows
When you unlock or lock your vehicle, you can also open or close the windows.
Lowering the windows with the key
- Turn and hold the key inserted in the driver's door lock in the unlock position - all windows open.
Lowering windows with radio remote control
- Press and hold the unlock button until the windows reach the desired position.
Raising windows with a key
- Hold the key inserted in the driver's door lock in the locked position until all windows are closed.
Raising windows with radio remote control
- Press and hold the lock button until all windows are closed.
The process of lowering or raising the windows can be interrupted by releasing the key or the button for locking the radio remote control locks.
Attention. For safety reasons, the windows can only be raised and lowered using the radio remote control at a distance of approximately 2 m from the vehicle. When the button is released, the closing process stops immediately.
Functional disturbances
Disabling automatic raising and lowering windows
Automatic windows up and down is deactivated after disconnecting and then connecting the battery. To restore the automatic function, the following is required:
- Continuously actuate the power window switch to bring the window to its highest position.
- Release the switch and press again while holding the switch for about one second with the window closed. Automation is back in operation.
