Electric windows — general information (Audi 80 B3)

1. Electric windows are installed as standard in some Audi 80, 90 and Coupe models, and can be installed as special order equipment on other models, the windows can be opened or closed when the ignition is on.

2. If damage is found, first check the thermal switch (reverse current relay). The location of the switch can be determined from the electrical connection diagram in Section 12.

3. The electric motors are connected to the window lifters and can be removed as described in Chapters 17 and 18 (photo).
