1. Some models are equipped with central locking which automatically locks all doors in unison with manually locking any front door. The system is controlled by a pump (photo), which provides vacuum and pressure to the door lock.
2. If there is damage in the system, then first of all the condition and safety of the hoses.
3. The pump is located on the right side of the luggage compartment and is accessible by removing the interior trim.
4. Switch elements (photo) accessible after removing the door trim panel as described in Chapter 14. Check that the linkage rod is in the upper (the door is open) position before pressing the lock button. Remove the mounting screws and disconnect the air line and the multi-pin electrical wiring plug.
5. Access to the trunk lid switch element is obtained by removing the right rear trim from the rear light side. Make sure the air control pipe is installed between the inner casing and linkage linkage (Pic. 11.27).
6. The rear door switch element can be accessed by removing the rear trim panel.
