Dismantling
To remove the rear bumper, you need to loosen two Phillips head screws on the right and left sides of the car (1 and 2).
1. Fold down the boot floor.
2. Unscrew in a luggage carrier on the right and at the left on two bolts with six-sided heads.
3. Remove the sides of the bumper from the brackets on the body. To do this, firmly press the bumper down from the side and at the same time pull it at the top edge away from the body.
4. Wring out a bumper for both ends over wheel arches and remove back.
5. When installing the bumper, insert the rear fasteners first.
6. First insert the sides of the bumper into the bracket on the body with the bottom edge. Then push the sides of the bumper up from the side until the bracket fits into the groove.
7. Then align the bumper and tighten the bolts.
Tip: The rear bumper brackets are designed at the same time as shock absorbers - they deform in a collision and protect the body structure.
