Execution order
1. Rinse the bottom thoroughly.
2. Inspect the entire underbody with a bright lamp for damage.
3. Clean damaged areas in the protective layer with a spatula, scraper and wire brush until the metal is clean.
4. If possible, sand off any rust to bare metal.
5. Coat the cleaned areas with zinc dust based paint as an anti-corrosion primer.
6. Flat or larger surfaces are treated with a material that can be smeared.
7. In hard-to-reach gaps and corners, it is better to use anti-corrosion spray.
Important: renew the bitumen anti-corrosion coating of the underbody of the vehicle only with bitumen material; repair defects in the synthetic anti-corrosion coating in the wheel arches only with polyvinyl chloride anti-corrosion material.
Tip: Only certain materials can be used to renew the anti-corrosion coating. Unsuitable substances will corrode the standard anti-corrosion coating. In addition to VW/Audi products, Teroson sprays and pastes are suitable.
When spraying anti-corrosion agent, cover the brakes with paper or plastic film to protect them from the sprayed sticky material.
