1. Turn up the floor mat in the trunk.
Vehicles with Avant body
2. Remove facing of the lock.
3. Raise the floor mat.
4. Disconnect the upholstery on the sides of the trunk, but only in the rear.
5. Install a socket wrench on the bumper mounting bolt (approx. 500 mm long) with a nozzle and a ratchet, pulling back the upholstery and inserting the key between the upholstery and the side of the body.
6. Turn out thus all bolts of fastening of a bumper.
All models
7. Turn out in a luggage carrier on the right and left sides on two six-sided bolts (see illustration).
8. Unscrew the two self-tapping screws securing the bumper to the wheel arch on the right and left sides.
9. Disconnect the bumper sidewalls from the brackets on the body. To do this, press down the side of the bumper while simultaneously pushing its upper edge towards you.
10. Lift both ends of the bumper over the wheel arches and remove it by pushing back.
When installing the bumper, it must first be brought to the mountings on the rear of the body.
11. Insert the lower edge of the bumper sidewalls into the brackets attached to the body. Then press the top of the sidewall until it locks into the bracket. Make sure the mounting clips on the lower edge of the bumper are engaged.
12. Insert the ends of the bumper into their attachment points on the wheel arch and tighten the mounting bolts.
Avant cars
To adjust the height of the bumper, you can move the bracket on which the bumper is mounted. Gap between the lower edge of the sidewalls of the body (hind wings) and bumper should be 6.5-7.5 mm.
