Fuel filter
Replace the fuel filter every 30,000 km.
Air filter
Every 15,000 km of run, remove the filter element of the air filter and blow it with compressed air at a pressure of no more than 0.5 kg / cm2. When driving on very dusty roads, this purge should be carried out more frequently. Never use gasoline or oil to clean the filter element.
Replace the air filter element every 30,000 km.
Replacing the air filter element
To replace the filter element in carbureted engines:
- remove the filter element from the air filter housing and thoroughly clean the surfaces of the filter housing;
- install a new filter element and secure the air filter cover.
To replace the filter element in engines with a fuel injection system:
- unfasten the spring ties and separate from the bracket, with some effort, the dispenser-distributor together with the air filter;
- unfasten the four fasteners and slightly raise the dispenser-distributor together with the upper part of the air filter housing;
- push down the lower part of the air filter so that the filter element can be removed;
- when installing, place the filter element in the lower part of the air filter housing and fasten the filter in the bracket using fasteners, two fastening fingers must enter the rubber bushings in the sidewall of the power unit compartment;
- lower the dispenser-distributor together with the upper part of the air filter housing into its lower part and fasten the remaining spring ties;
- check the reliability of the fastening of the air filter and the dispenser-distributor.
Fuel gauge
The fuel gauge is located in the center of the instrument cluster and comes on when the ignition is switched on. The divisions of the pointer scale correspond to 1/4, 1/2, etc. presence of fuel in the tank. When the pointer arrow has reached its lowest position, about 2 liters of gasoline remain in the tank.
Carburetor
Do not violate the factory setting of the carburetor. The efficiency of work and the power developed by the engine directly depend on the correct adjustment of the carburetor and ignition. Incorrect adjustment can damage the engine.
Econometer
econometer (fuel gauge) is a pointer, the arrow of which moves along a vertical scale. The deflection of the arrow determines the fuel consumption depending on the position of the accelerator pedal. The gauge readings are valid only when the vehicle is moving and are not correct when the engine is idling. If the arrow is in the lower sector of the scale, then the fuel consumption is small. If the arrow is in the upper sector of the scale, then the fuel consumption is high (instrument readings in this case are not valid when driving in V gear).
Automatic engine start-stop device «Stop-Start»
This device provides an automatic engine stop at each stop of the car and an automatic start of the engine when the movement is resumed. Depending on the configuration, the device activation button can be located to the left of the lower row of control lamps and to the right of the indicators or in the lower left part of the instrument panel.
The device works as follows:
- function «Stop». If the device is turned on by pressing the button, the engine automatically stops every time the car stops under the following conditions:
- at this moment, I and II gears and rear code transmission are not included;
- driving speed below 5 km/h;
- the engine is idling for more than 2 s;
- up to this point, the speed of the vehicle was above 5 km/h.
Each time the engine is stopped, the rear window heating is turned off, if it was turned on;
- function «Start». The engine starts automatically when the shift lever is moved from neutral to full left. If the engine stalls, the start attempt is repeated after 6 seconds. If none of the gears is engaged within 6 seconds after starting the engine, the device automatically stops the engine.
