Periodically check the gap between the breaker contacts and the cleanliness of their working surface. The gap between the contacts should be 0.45 mm. Correct adjustment of the gap is possible only with the help of a device for measuring the angle of the distributor breaker cam.

The electronic ignition system does not require any maintenance during operation.
Spark plugs
Check the gap between the electrodes every 10,000 km.
Replace spark plugs every 20,000 km. Remove spark plugs only with a spark plug wrench to avoid damaging the porcelain insulator. Adjust the gap between spark plug electrodes only by bending the "mass" electrode. When installing spark plugs, first screw them in by hand to avoid damaging the threads under the spark plugs in the cylinder head, then tighten them completely with a spark plug wrench.
