Fuel filter and add. fuel pump "V393"
1. Bracket: for fuel filter and add. fuel pump "V393".
2. Fuel hose.
3. Spring clamp.
4. Fuel filter: the direction of fuel flow is indicated by arrows; do not mix up the pipes when connecting.
5. Additional fuel pump "V393": for all vehicles except vehicles with the engine letter designation CAPA; the direction of fuel flow is indicated by arrows; do not mix up the pipes when connecting.
6. Rubber support: to additional fuel. pump "V393".
7. Reverse fuel. highway: to the engine.
8-10. Fuel hose.
11. Control valve: flow direction is marked with letters "VL", "RL" and arrows; do not mix up the pipes when connecting.
12/13. Fuel hose.
14. Rubber support: for fuel filter.
15. Nut: 8 Nm.
16. Rubber tip: fixed to the body.
Removal and installation of fuel. filter
Remove the right underbody trim panels. Unscrew nuts "1" and "2" and remove the bracket. Tilt bracket "3" downwards "arrow", lift it away from the body and remove it.

Place a drain pan under the fuel. filter. Disconnect the fuel supply lines. hoses "1" and "4". Remove the return fuel. line "3" from buffer "2". Remove fuel filter "5" with buffer. The picture shows a car with a 2.7 liter engine.

Installation
Installation in reverse order. The direction of fuel flow is marked with an arrow on the filter housing.
All vehicles except CAPA: Risk of fuel injection pump failure when running dry. When replacing fuel. filters, fuel lines or additional. fuel pump "V393" before the first start of the engine, the fuel should be bled. syst.. Remove air from fuel. syst.
Removal air from fuel. syst.
All cars except CAPA: Pump fuel. syst..
CAPA cars: Thanks to the special design of the engine and fuel. pump built into the fuel. tank, remove air from the system. no power supply required. When the starter is turned on, air is removed from the system. automatically.
