Exhaust gas recirculation system

CAMA, CAMB, CAPA

CCLA, CCWA, CCWB, CGKA, CGKB

Removal and installation of the execution. engine system. exhaust gas recirculation "V338", CAMA, CAMB, CAPA

Drain the coolant. Remove the engine cover "arrows".

CAMA, CAMB: Unscrew the arrow bolt and remove the mounting clamp. Unscrew the union nuts "1...4" and remove the high-pressure lines. Ignore the right arrow.





CAPA: Unscrew union nuts "1" and "3", release and remove the high pressure line. "Pos. 2" should not be taken into account.

Remove the upper part of the intake manifold. Remove the oil housing. filter.



Remove the "arrow" fitting from the system thermostat. eGR valve, to do this remove the mounting bracket.





Remove electrical connector "2" of the system temperature sensor. exhaust gas recirculation "G98" from the bracket and disconnect. "Pos. 1" should not be taken into account.



Disconnect the electrical connector "arrow" of the engine actuator system. eGR "V338". Unscrew bolts "1, 2, 3", remove the actuator motor of the system. exhaust gas recirculation "V338" and disconnect from the system hose. cooling "4".

Install

Installation in reverse order. Replace the gaskets. Install the oil housing. filter. Install the upper part of the intake manifold. Install fuel. high-pressure lines. Fill with coolant.

Removal and installation of the execution. electric motor system. exhaust gas recirculation "V338", CCLA, CCWA, CCWB, CGKA, CGKB

Remove the engine cover "arrows". Remove the radiator changeover valve system. exhaust gas recirculation "N345" "pos. 1" from the bracket. "Pos. 2, 3, 4" and "arrows" are not taken into account.



Vehicles with SCR catalytic converter: Briefly open the expansion tank cap. tank for relieving residual pressure in the system. cooling. Remove the coolant hose by loosening the hose clamp "arrow". Close the open lines and nipples with clean plugs from the engine plug set "VAS 6122".

Disconnect plug connector "1". Unscrew the "arrow" bolts and remove the actuator motor of the system. exhaust gas recirculation "V338".





Installation in reverse order. Replace the seal. ring.

Removal and installation of the system radiator. exhaust gas recirculation, CAMA, CAMB, CAPA

Drain the coolant. Remove the diesel particulate filter. Remove the upper part of the intake manifold.



Remove the lower right side of the intake manifold. Remove the rear left coolant pipe. Remove the rear right coolant pipe. Remove the control motor of the system. exhaust gas recirculation "V338".



Disconnect plug connector "1". Carefully press rod "2" off ball joint "arrow". Loosen bolts "3" and remove intake manifold flap drive motor 2 "V275" "pos. 4".





Unscrew the bolts "arrows" and "1".



Disconnect the vacuum hose "arrow" from the valve adjusting element of the system. exhaust gas recirculation. Unscrew bolts "1...5".



Remove the EGR radiator together with the coolant hoses from the cylinder block in an upward direction. Clean the holes for connecting the coolant hoses in cylinder block "1" and "2".





Procedure with the coolant hose firmly secured: Disconnect coolant hose "1" using a suitable auxiliary tool, such as a hacksaw blade or knife. Remove the EGR radiator together with the coolant hoses from the cylinder block upwards "2", route the "2" coolant supply hose. Route the EGR radiator out of the coolant connecting nipple and remove it upwards. Remove the coolant hose connector.



Clean the holes for connecting the coolant hoses in cylinder block "1" and "2".

Install

Installation in reverse order. Replace gaskets and seals. o-rings. To secure all hose connections, use clamps of the appropriate series. Install the intake manifold flap motor "V275". Install the actuator motor of the system. exhaust gas recirculation "V338". Install the coolant pipe on the right rear. Install the rear left coolant pipe. Install the upper and lower right parts of the intake manifold. Install a diesel particulate filter. Fill with coolant.

Removal and installation of the system radiator. exhaust gas recirculation - CCLA, CCWA, CCWB, CGKA, CGKB

Drain the coolant. Remove the diesel particulate filter. Remove the left upper coolant pipe. Remove the right upper coolant pipe. Remove the oil cooler housing. filter. Loosen the clamp "arrow" and remove the connecting pipe "1" of the exhaust gas recirculation system.



Unscrew bolt "1" and hollow bolt "3", put aside the oil supply line. "Pos. 2" should not be taken into account.



Unscrew the bolts "arrows" and "1".



Remove connector "2" (orange) of the system temperature sensor. exhaust gas recirculation "G98" from the bracket and disconnect. "Pos. 1" should not be taken into account.



Remove hollow bolt "1" and bolt "2" and set the refrigerant line aside.



Disconnect plug connector "1". Carefully press rod "2" off ball joint "arrow". Loosen bolts "3" and remove intake manifold flap drive motor 2 "V275" "pos. 4".



Repeat the entire process on the other side of the vehicle. Remove vacuum hose "1." Remove the coolant hose by loosening the fastening clamp "2." Remove the coolant hose by opening the hose clamp "3." Remove the bolts "arrows" and disconnect the EGR radiator from the cylinder block.



Repeat the entire process on the other side of the vehicle. Remove vacuum hose "1." Remove the coolant hose by loosening the fastening clamp "2." Remove the coolant hose by opening the hose clamp "3." Remove the bolts "arrows" and disconnect the EGR radiator from the cylinder block.

Install

Installation in reverse order. Replace gaskets and seals. rings. Use clamps of the appropriate series to secure all hose connections. Install the intake manifold flap motors. Install the coolant line. Install the oil cooler housing. filter. Install the right upper coolant pipe. Install the left upper coolant pipe. Install the diesel particulate filter. Fill with coolant.
