Exhaust gas recirculation system (Audi A6 C4)

This system consists of a recirculation valve, a modulating valve and connecting hoses.

Recirculation valve and mounting bolts (engine 1Z)

Recirculation valve mounting nuts (engine 1Z)

Removal

1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the valve (in the picture on the left is the AAT engine, on the right is the 1Z).







2. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the gasket.





3. Unscrew the mounting nuts and remove the valve.

4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
