Ultrasonic interior security system
Transmitter-receiver module 1 of the interior security system "G303" and used protection against unauthorized towing and anti-theft system. the J529 is combined into a single component, the G578 anti-theft alarm sensor. Therefore, the center console, used with the J393 comfort system, with the anti-theft alarm option installed, only has two LIN bus subscribers.
1. Alarm signal "H12".
2. Nut: 5 Nm.
3. Nut: 7 Nm.
4. Holder for the sound signal of the anti-theft alarm "N12".
5. Central used comfort system "J393".
6. Control unit bracket.
7. Antenna for central locking and anti-theft alarm "R47": built into the rear window.
8. Anti-theft alarm sensor "G578".
9. Front interior light/reading light.
10. System sensor. front passenger compartment protection: can only be replaced together with the anti-theft alarm sensor "G578".
Removal and installation the interior security system deactivation switch "E183"/anti-theft alarm switch "E217"
Turn off the ignition. Carefully remove plug "1" from the door trim "arrow" using a small screwdriver "2". Disconnect the plug connection.
Carefully release the arrow latches with a small screwdriver. Remove the interior security deactivation switch "E183"/anti-theft alarm switch "E217" "pos. 1" from the panel "2" in the rear direction.
Installation in reverse order.
Anti-theft alarm sensor "G578", removal and installation
Remove the front interior/individual lighting lamp. Disconnect the "arrow B" clamps and remove the anti-theft system sensor. "pos. 1" from the interior lighting lamp/individual lighting lamp. Release electrical line "2". Unlock the clamps "arrow A" and remove the anti-theft alarm system sensor. "G578" "pos. 3" from the interior lighting lamp/individual lighting lamp.
Press the fastening clamps towards "arrow A" and remove the anti-theft system sensor. "G578" "pos. 1" from fastening "2". Unlock fastening clamps "arrow B" and remove sensors "3" of the anti-theft system. from the fastening.
Installation in reverse order. Install interior light/reading lamp in lane. parts of the cabin.
Removal and installation the "H12" alarm
Cars manufactured before 05.2008: Unlock and remove the water drainage box casing "1" and "2". Ignore "Pos. 3" and "arrow".
For vehicles manufactured since 06.2008: Unscrew screws "3". Unfasten clips "2" from the mountings and remove the water drainage box cover "1".
All: Unscrew nut "3". Disconnect plug connection "1". Pull out the alarm system horn upwards. "H12" "pos. 2".
Installation in reverse order. Install the retainer into the recess in the bracket.
