Removal and installation the air composition sensor "G238"/air humidity sensor in the intake duct "G657"
Turn off the ignition. Remove the rubber seal "B" on the left as much as necessary. Remove the air intake duct cover on the fairing "A" or the fairing (various designs). If necessary, carefully detach the fairing from the windshield frame mount "C".

Turn "G238"/"G657" "A" approximately 90° to the left and remove it from the air intake duct "C". Disconnect connector "B" from "G238"/"G657".
Pinout of plug "B"
1. Plus (terminal 15).
2. Minus (terminal 31).
3. Signal line to the on-board network control unit "J519".
Hint: The signal that is given "G238"/"G657" cannot be measured by the workshop. Data "G238"/"G657" is processed by the used on-board network "J519" and transmitted via the data bus to the used and indicators, used Climatronic "J255". The intake shaft for fresh air "C" is available in various designs (with a mount for "G238"/"G657" "A" or without it, front or side mounting), ensure correct execution. Measured values "G238"/"G657" are indicated in the block of measured values pan. control and display units, used Climatronic "J255," and in the measured value block of the used on-board network "J519." Decoding the display — VAS 5051 tester in Guided Fault Finding mode.
